One of our core values (and the most important one) for Ordinary Women is intimacy with Jesus. For some of you, this may be a foreign concept or one that seems unattainable. For others, you may just have no idea where to start! The best way to get to know someone more intimately is to spend time with them daily. So in 2023, I would love for the OW community to get to know Jesus better by reading through the Bible together and seeing how His story is intricately woven throughout Scripture. We will use the Read Scripture app, which uses videos and other resources to help us understand exactly what we are reading and how it relates together as a whole. Each daily reading is also accompanied by praying through one of the Psalms. I am confident that by committing to daily time in the Word and in prayer, we will grow in our relationship with the Lord, our passion for discipleship, and our friendships with each other. I promise that this will be one New Year’s resolution you will want to keep!
